Post Engine noise found

For a few months now I have had a noise from the motar on start up, only after the truck sat for awile, usualy over night. Well early this week I f up and broke the alt belt and broke the tensnior pully. Last night I put the the new parts on and before I did this I started the truck trying to find out were that noise was comming from. The truck has sat for three days now. When I started her up there was no noise at all. Okay so I put all the belts back on her and tryed it again, no noise. I tryed it this morning and the same thing, no noise. My conclusion is that the noise was comming from the belt.
