Question Shook The Chip Loose?

Has this happened to you? What were the symptoms as it came loose and now did you fix it? Getting ready to reinstall mine but want to make sure I know what really happened.

I still stand by my fuel pump theory. Only time will tell.

(The ten minute wait to start is the klinker!)

Make sure the chip does not ride against the bracket the computer sit's in. It will push it out if you are not careful.

I had mine come loose. The L just quit and wouldn't start. I had to shut down the ignition and retry to start. It did but quit soon. I had just enough time to get it off the road. I pulled the chip and drove home with no problem.

I removed the computer mounting bracket and groung off the lip that hits the chip connector. Rienstalled everything, taped the connector in place and replaced the plastic clip. I have no further problems.
