What kind of detergent do you use to wash the L with or do you just go to a car wash?

Meguiars Car Wash, with a regular sponge to wash... Meguars Wax, Polish, ect, with the meguiars applicator pad... wipe off with old towels... tires - Bleach White, with brush
To make tires shine, I use whatever is here.. lately I've applied Armor All to a small sponge and rubbed it on, dont last long at all... the meguiars stuff on the tires gets into the brush when ya clean them after a while...

My L never see's rain so the most I ever do is go to the car wash and used the rinse only. Dry with clean white cotten towel, go for a quick spin and wipe water streaks. Wax with Cherry Wet Wax.

I use the local car wash most of the time. If I do it by hand, I use whatever Car wash soap that was on sale at the time. Never Never use dishwashing soap or laundry detergent on the finish, it is too harsh and will dry out the paint.

I use Rain Dance Car Wash with a soft sponge then dry it off with a cotton towel. The car wash formula makes the wax job last a lot longer than it normally would.

I may switch to Meguiars when my Rain Dance runs out because I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I usually use Mexicans to wash my truck. they seem to enjoy the cash/no tax concept, are generally in a festive mood, and understand me when i say "get all the bugs off", even though i don't speak "Mexican", too well, nice people

I usually stop at the Fire Dept. on the way home from work everyday and give it wash. The perks of being on the department I guess. We have some handy dandy wash equipment as well as some wash and wax soap. By using this wash and wax soap (it doesn't really wax that well), I end up waxing the truck every two to three weeks with Zymol. Works very well for me. I like to use tire wet for the tires. Only problem is that you shouldn't drive for a bit after applying it. If you do, it will end up all over the truck.

I use all the Meguiars products for my truck. The best tire stuff I've ever used is the Armor All Tire Foam. No matter how dirty my truck gets, my tires always stay shiny! And whatever you do, dont buy that turtle wax tire foam crap!!

MRBBQMAN: Maybe it's my mood, but I find what you wrote ignorant and offensive. Maybe you can explain to me how you use a Mexican to wash your truck. I see other people using Zaino and Meguiars but not Mexicans. Is Mexican a new car wash that you can purchase with out paying sales tax?

Punisher, I'm pretty sure BBQ didn't mean it to be offensive. It's the whole southern thing
