I use water with mine. It takes a while to wash but I noticed it works just as good as anything else. Plus if you use soap to often it will ware the clearcoat. But that takes a lot of washes. I use a lil armoral for the tires and thats about it. ust remember if your gonna clean your truck with water it's gonna take 3 to 4 hours.

I thought it was funny. I have a couple of guys here at the local car wash who baby her if I don't have time to wash her myself. They cut me breaks and I bring them Corona. They will detail her I think, before I bring her out in May...I remember all too well last year how much hell I got cause my engine compartment wasn't spotless. Otherwise I use Meguiars.

I use my neighborhood car wash "La Hacienda" wholly Mexican owned and operated (and proud of it). i usually order the Pancho Villa (which is the works) the title of this topic is "what do you guys use to wash your trucks with" nothing about Zaino, Rain Dance. maybe i should try to keep my replies mainstream, as to not **** off anyone, on second thought, screw that, i'll do what i want, and go the way of Badass & Betty

 

Last week I took my truck to the brothers in K-town, man that thing looked so good when they got done, brandy new! I drive by them everyday to work and they are always shining the tractors frome the Case dealership and thier Cadilacs always shine so I figured I try, glad I did. 6yrs in th e Corps taught me attention to detail and Im a picky at that stuff but I could find nothing wrong - inside, out, doorjams, even under the hood! The only thing wrong was my radio was on some funk, or what he said "A trunk of funk!" The're al right.

 

I'm with Punisher. He may have ment it as a joke, but I don't recall seeing a J/K. So to me it was offensive and a racist remark. "I USE MEXICANS", to me says that you take advantage of them. Also that "You don't speak Mexican" tells me that your and Idiot!! It suprises me that you can understand what all those little marks are, on the little...button thingys that are connected to that plastic tray. I think they call it a keyboard. And no, its not were you keep your car keys!! But no offense

As a Mexican American I am very offended. I asked a couple of my friends(non-mexican)to read the post and to tell me if I was over reacting. They were in agreement with me that the post was tastless. If you didn't mean it in this fashion then I do apolgize. Consequently my truck is to big to fit into a regular car wash. So I have to take it to a detail shop that will wash it by hand. The name of the shop is Kracker and they have nothing but women working on the inside of the cars. I guess cause they are used to dusting and vacuuming carpet. The owner is from texas and keeps telling me he will install a gun rack in my beast for half price.
