Question Calling BaBolt

Sorry to bother you Mike, But I think I can speak for most here when I ask, whats up with your Powertube and throttle bodys. Are you getting close to being ready for some of us to purchase them or is it still aways off.

Again I am getting excited about having some new stuff for my truck!!!

Where I'm at. I have stock now in hand for the power tubes and stainless steel replacements for the Lightning exhaust tips. All of this stuff had to be custom bent and I also made sure that there were no imperfections. I must now complete tooling fixtures so that I can assemble. The same is true for the billet throttle body. The item that I showed was a one-off and the design has since been changed. Design work and math data is complete and billet stock has been ordered. In regards to the power tube my sample lot of hose connectors came in 1/32 oversize on the diameter so those are being remolded. The other problem is that one size power tube will not fit all. If for example you were to run the power tube with the stock air meter and air cleaner this would require the shortest combination. If you were to run the Pro-M or the stock 80 & 90 mm units you may want a longer power tube. I will be able to custom build for these conditions. I also have plans that will allow me to build the air meter into the power tube and these will be true one-off custom units and all the electronics will be hidden on the underside.

I hope to talk to Steve here at F150 Online by 4/2/01. I should have the throttle bodies ready by then. Where I'm at on the power tube is that I decided to build a stamping die for the complex transition on the power pipe. I believe that this will yield a quality part. I've also been busy making headers for my 2.5L Ranger and polished stainless steel exhaust tips.
Ranger header.

Thanks SB,
Was wondering about the power tube also. Wish the 90mm Mafs would get here from Ford. Now that Sal can calibrate a chip for them.
