Post Searched the archives but...

I can't draw a conclusion yet. I , like most of us, want a deep rumble from the L's pipes. Doing a search on the posts, it looks like the general consensus is the magnaflows are slightly different than stock, not to loud at all. Straight pipes require a hearing aid after a few weeks of operation. I want something in between. Sounds like it is the flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series muffs. Any other suggestions? I just read a couple of hundred posts regarding this and it seems that there isn't really "the muffler" to get.
My father-in-law has the Bassani full system, and although pricey I really like the sound his makes. Thanks for the input.

Dennis,

Some have used the Magnaflow 12568 and like it as it produces a tad more growl than stock.

Mine has a Magnaflow 12468 with a nice rumble at idle, NO drone while cruising, and plenty o roar when the boost gauge is earning its keep.

pics in my zing album linked below.
