Hello does anybody remember which issue of hot rod was the Lightning vs vette in hot rod magazine??? I just think it might have been in 2000?? I have been looking in ebay for a copy of that issue and have been not been able to locate one. thank for your help.

I remember that too. As I recall the article went something like. We tested a new Lightning and a new Vett and you're not going to believe who won. They put them on a dyno and yes, the Lightning out HP'd the Vett. I don't remember if they drag raced them.
