madmaxsc - check your email.

john893- went to the shop today and they said the box should cost from 200-250 without carpet. it would be 300 or so with vinyl.

hope this helps!

Damn how much watts are you putting to each speaker? I used to love my old mazdog way back in the day had 4 rockford pro-12's and a punch 150 on each. Nice 10 cubic foot box haha. After you done let me know how it turns out i have been thinking along the same line's as you.

You inspired me.

I was going to wait a few more weeks to start putting my system from my 99 F150 4x4 into my lightning.

It was 50 degrees today so I took some time off from work and put some of it in. Get the Alpine head unit, and 6 disk changer, and the JL Audio speekers in today. Once I have more time I will pull the doors back off and compleatly Dynomat the doors. I just did a one foot section around the speekers done today.

Then down the road a bit, the amp and subs will go in, but atleast you got me started.

here is the changer, I screwed the bracket into the bottom of the seat. It is a snug fit, but the seat can be moved back and forth with no problem.

Did you decide later to go with a amp to each sub, or is the other amp running the rest of the speakers? If you get a chance i would like to talk some prices with you so i know whats a good deal when i start this spring. I was going to do the square 12's, but was unsure of what amps. Anyways if you get a chance shoot me a email.

Thanks

ashenor - i'm running 2 12inch solobarics with dual 2 ohm voice coils.
i have it set up to have a 2 ohm load to the amp.. somewhere around a thousand watts to the subs.
the amp on the right is a 4 channel (kick panels and midbass drivers in doors)
the one on the left is a 2 channel. that one amp is more than enough to run both subs.

don c - what dash kit do you have? i like the pocket in yours a lot better than mine.
mine is a METRA kit.

I ordered it direct from them

It looks like they may have changed the design since last year. Call them and ask. Mine is two years old.
