Ha! That's crap too! Naptha and pale oils have no business being poured into any engine, let alone an L.

Don't have one, and it's irrelevant. Just trying to help the youngin' out.

I don't believe in stovepipes; and you should do a search for seafoam posts by a member named Labnerd. It truly is bad stuff.

If you want to clean out the inside of you’re engine, pour about two gallons of Xylene (paint thinner) 116 octane. Plus add two oz of mystery oil, to a full tank of gas.

You will be amazed at the results!!!

Well have you ever heard of toluene (110) octane, I started with that on my riding lawn mower, then my four-wheeler, push mower and then finally graduated to my truck. It’s a 01 with 90K on the clock, I have been mixing my own fuel after about 5K, for about 6 years now…

I have added too much, and running that high octane, when its cold she is hard to start, and fumbles until she gets warmed up.. However: when it’s hot 95+ that is when it really shines, you can increase boost and not get any pre-ignition!!

I finally explored with adding Xylene, and that worked even better…

My truck is addicted to the stuff; she just loves the heck out of if, anyway do a search, on either Toluene or Xylene, a lot of info out there…..

One bad thing Xylene cost about $6.00 a gal….

i had a bad time with Bosch platt plugs. i got about 11,000 miles off them and then they started misfireing all the time under load. then i switched to autolites double platts. but the boschs are made for forigen 4Cyl lower spark plug charge from the coil packs. when you put bosch in a american V-8 the charger from our coil packs/COPs are higher and fry the plugs. when i pulled them out all of them were pure white.
