Post Way to fix holes left by front plate

If you remove your front plate here is an easy and inexpensive way to cover the holes left in the bumper.
I got these plugs at PEP BOYS. They come in all shapes and sizes, found some 3/8" ones, painted to match, they push right in, life is good.
It looks even better in person and when driving all anyone sees is a nice plate free bumper coming up quickly behind them.

K, looks kick ***! Those S.O.B.'s drilled mine before I caught them. How about a part number or mfg. name.

Thanks, Jerry

I did the same fix months ago.

Here's what I posted........

My dealer also drilled my bumper. I promptly removed the plate holder and plugged the holes.

This fix is very easy to do and looks almost as good as a non-drilled bumper. If you look in your front fender wells you'll see several round black plastic plugs that hold the liner in. These plugs are meant to be pushed onto a hole and hold tight. They also have a flat smooth head. Perfect for plugging the holes in your bumper. I drilled the holes out to 1/4 inch, painted the heads of the plugs to match my truck ( Red, the fastest color) and pushed them into the holes. PERFECT !

Oh yea, The plugs cost me 33 cents each from my local Ford dealership. Don't remember the P/N.
