Post Cobra Throttle Body install ?

Is this as simple as going to Ford, picking it up and putting it on? Will the R9 Superchip have to be re-configured or any other things be changed?

The chip does not need to be re-done, and it's not just a bolt on and go. Do a search for the throttle bodies and I believe there are some pics that will show the differences.

Research shows switch the throttle brackets
and you are in business. M-9926-D464 is the Cobra Throttle body part number. Should purchase one this week. ASVTFordBoy looks good on your Cobra body. This is a snapshot from Ford Racing Catalog parts page.

For 4.6L, 4V high performance applications. Mounts directly to existing production manifold and minimizes flow losses. Requires minor modifications to intake manifold bridge to function.
Fits 1996-98 Cobras only

If you're not in a big hurry, I would wait on BABolt's oval TB he is making. He is waiting on just a few things to come together.
