so after i fixed the battery problem and drove it to work all was good....on the way home once i hit 45 the truck started shaking violently. i thought maybe fuel filter clogged? but it doesnt do it til it shift into 4th....think maybe my overdrive gear is bad? i really hope not. any thoughts?

 

Do you get a flashing OD off light?

My guess would be your TQ converter crap-ped out on ya.

 

my buddy's lightning was ding that same thing and we brought it to the shop and come to find out he had an extra gallon of trans fluid and it was black. he drove the truck like that for 16k miles and no prob then one day it just started shaking. he swore he never touched the trans fluid so the prev owner musta have been a retard to do that.
