Changed you pads lately?
So i got all my gear Hawk Hps pads, New Dot 3 fluid, paint for calipers, scotch pad/ brake cleaner for rotors etc...
Getting ready to make a night of it and get the new pads on. Took the tire off and went to loosen the caliper with the torx bits on the back (using a T47 bit) Unfortunetely my bit snapped in half
so off to a local hardware store where all i could find was a T45. Took it home and it feels somewhat loose, not to bad but not as tight as the T47 was. Did a quick search online and it sounds like T45 is what it should be?
So im going to have to do this tomorrow, Ordered my service manual from ebay so hopefully i get that fairly soon for these little questions.
One other question is ive been told that when using a C clamp to push on the caliper it can cause problems with the ABS system. I have never had a problem but is there any steps to take to avoid this? Open the bleeder so you arent forcing the fluid back up into the master cylinder maybe?

The only issue about the ABS is “do not bleed them dry” it causes some serious problems; you have to get a hold of some sort of instrument to remove the air from the ABS unit.
As far as cracking open the bleeder screw, that is the easiest way to compress the calipers…
