Cool Whats The Average Life On A Lightning

Assuming that the most ill do to my completely stock Lightning is exhaust and a CAI what is probably expected on milage> Off coarse once in while ill punch it but mostly use it to pick up on chicks or go to school. ANY NUMBERS HELP i berly got 27,000 on mine and its a 2002 THANK YOU GUYS

Don't do any 40-120 kickdown WOTs in cold weather and you'll be good for at least another 100k...

Milage

Two "L" owners in FLA have 99,000 & 100,000 and they both race. Both of them are stock blocks witha lot of mods.

I think they are pretty reliable. There are guys on here that will chime in with 100K plus easy.

But seriously...depends on you and your tuner I guess. I have over 100K on mine (stock long block) and every mod there is....and....hundreds of passes on the drag strip

115k on mine --- no problems, so I'm planing on a 200k refurb --- maybe :-)

Yes, Gatorawned you are one, I'Blown would be the other. Both pretty high milage trucks.

205,000 on mine, and I run it hard most every day. No major problems, drivetrain is all original.

The drive train on these trucks is incredibly strong.

i had 86,323 on mine with a 4lb and 2.8 upper full exhaust.. basically every bolt on and drove it hard for 4 years... no problems at all!! just got a built motor and whipple to run faster but no problems.. i am a firm believer in the TUNE!!
