there's a 99 at the local ford dealership here in Illinois that was owned by one of the tech's in teh back... it has 75,000 some miles on it... thats the most i've heard of. i am curious also, our trucks are fairly new and there arent a lot of "high miled" ones out there YET. but is that supercharger suposed to last only 100k or what? And if you put a pulley on it, say a 4#er, is there any rule of thumb that says how much that hurts the life of it? Sorry i couldnt help that much, but closest to 100k i saw was 75....
thanks, Shane

I would also be curious to see the durability of these engines....I wonder if they will ever come close to any of the 5.0 mustangs around with 150k to 200k miles on them. I remember a friend of mine one time with an 87 LX coupe decided to put the juice on it with 150k miles...I think he put a 150 shot on it and ran a 10 something....And did that a bunch of times...When he pulled the heads off to get done, you could still see the cross hatch in the cylinders....Now that's longevity....Let's hope we see some L's doing this....

Chip since 6K miles with the usual intake stuff/line mod. Took chip out at 65 K miles. #2 pulley in for about 2 K miles. Everything is original on the truck. Orginal motor/trans.

mostly still together ...

I'm at around 75K and I've had a 2lb lower and chip on for at least 50K of that. Aside from 4 intercoolers (yes, it took ford a while to striaighten that out), I havent had any major problems. It's been running kinda funny and missing quite a bit since 65K, but nothing that gets in the way so far and a thorough diagnostic found nothing. Maybe time for new injectors or that fuel filter people keep talking about. I replaced that around 60K but I guess its about time for another.

78,500+ miles on my 99. Over 1,800 passes at my local 1/8 mile dragstrip. Stills runs as good as the day I got it. 4 lb pulley, chip, and, JDM Sllver Bullet exhaust.
