I have had service done at Victor Ford. Very satisfied.A little further north, is Fox Lake ford. I like them the best.Now for front end work I like Larry roesh ford in Elkgrove, Il.There was some body talking about some Ford dealer on north harlem ave. had a good Svt mechanic.Hope this helps. Don't go to Jacobs ford on harlem (previously Forest, before that Premier). They don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground! 6 different tests & 3 days later, they still couldn't diagnose a bad coil pack. I went to Al Piemonte, & my L was fixed in 45 minutes. I bought the truck at forest (jacobs now) And have Dic#ed around ever since Jacobs bought them. Their mechanic told me they never had a Lightning in the shop! I don't have an L but I did try 4 different dealers on the SW side of Chicago to order my F-150 XL last June (including Hawkinson). Anderson Ford on Ogden in Berwin was the most cooperative and gave me the best price.
And they had a red L in the showroom back then.

Any of you out there in Illinois buy your Lightning from either Sessler Ford in Libertyville, Hawkinson Ford in Oak Lawn, or Victor Ford in Wauconda? Do you mind sharing your buying or servicing experience?
