Cool 2001L new 1/4 Mile times with Superchip!!!

Installed the new Superchip Flip chip for the 2001 drove 620 Miles, no pinging no detonation, just perfect. The truck felt very fast. Multiple times, driving about 45 Mph and pushing the throttle all the way I was feeling wheel spin.
After 620 miles went to the strip.

Results Amazing!!!
Times before the chip: 13.44@101.63 - 13.61@101.21 - 13.57@101.44
Times with the chip: 12.66 @ 110.22 Mph - 12.69 @ 108.32 - 12.86 @ 105.01

The entire ¼ mile times where done in the street program with 96 octanes
I think without drag tires you cannot use the race program with 100 or more octanes.
I am pretty sure I reached the limit of the F1 tires.

Congratulation Superchips, Tremendous job. I had a hard time to believe it myself.
I will also buy and test chips from other vendors let see if the can do better.

FD (What a blast unbelievable)

12.66 @ 110.22 Mph - 12.69 @ 108.32 - 12.86 @ 105.01

Those are great times, congrats!

Just wondering, at the track, did you run without the chip on the same day you ran with the chip? M. Troyer always says that to make REAL comparisons, you MUST do that.....
But, those are still great improvements!

Congrats FD !!!! That's VERY VERY VERY Impressive times. I know I will follow the same mods that you have done, to mine.

How many total miles are on your truck now? Can I ask what track that you went to ? And what was the temp. and altitude there ?

I can't wait to run some times like those !!!

Congratulations!!! Amazing, Please post your 60 ft. times. I'm dying to know how well you were hooking up vs. raw power though the quarter. Can you post your time slip for those of us with the meager 99 & 00's? What the heck is that truck going to run when it starts to loosen up !!

WOW I almost cant beleive these #'s. How the hell is there that much of an improvement from 2000 to 2001. If its really going to be that way I might just have to sell my truck and buy another on the x-plan. Has anyone else with a 2001 run these #'s.

Way to go Bud!!!!!!!! So are you keeping the Superchip? How many miles do you have on her? Were all of those runs made with the ARE lid on? I think I am going with a ******* X2000.

Wow...Didn't know Superchip's had such a awesome program and still trying to make it better. In that post on page 4 called Free Chip they are still looking for test trucks.

Cool

Those new F1's must be a lot stickier. The best 60' times I could get out of mine were in the low 1.9's.

Great times.
