No it is not for an apperance thing!!!! This is for safty issues. No I do not drag race it.I open road race it where you need to have either very big ***** and or not much sense! I have a little of both, but when I hit 180 mph I DON'T want to hear people bragging about how FAST their truck is just because I have done it so that means yours will too.Like I said in an earlier post this is all done with a very careful selection of parts that ANYONE can have done at a repair shop.If my cell gets done by May I WILL be doing 180 but this first event will tell me what I need to do next for the safty end.
OH and yes IT will INCREASE the value, after all IT will be the FASTEST STREET driven AND emission legal Lightning if this all comes together.Stan

Unhappy

LQ, engage brain before putting mouth in gear. Stan is accomplished x-country road racer, won his class at last Silver State, wasn't it? Moving up in class, must conform to tech rules. When he kicks butt there I doubt if he will lose too much money on his truck.

Even though you don't need a navigator at Buttonwillow, I hope you'll let me ride as a passenger a few times.

I can understand your nav's point of view. Would I consider being a nav at that speed? NO WAY. I'd rather be 600 feet of the deck with sketchy protection. The wingers I've taken don't even compare to the ride I took with Azeem at Laguna Seca.
