Post 15 INCH RIM FOR Ls

I have been searching for over one year trying to find a wheel mfgr that can make a 15 inch rim to fit the back of the Lightnings without changing the calipers. I think I finally found one in so. cal. I will find out tomorrow based on the specks I sent in today. I truly believe this is a done deal. My fingers are crossed. I will let you all know.....Mike, LIGHTNING PERFORMANCE

Great, I believe the ultimate combination on these trucks is 28" slicks and a 373 rear gear. Keep us posted.

Mike,
Any word on if they can make a 16x9 for our trucks? I have 26x11.5x16 brand new et's and would want to wear them out before getting the 15's. The tires call for a 9" rim and right now I have them on 7" rims, I'd like to wear the whole tire out not just the middle section.

Comes at a good time as my 11.5 ET Streets are getting pretty thin an my gear ratio keeps climbing.
I'll probably finish them at FFW in Bradenton, Fl. next weekend.
Keep us posted.

Ok...Here is the up date...I have furnished photos of the brakes from every angle. They will look those over today. Based on the dimensions I furnished, the shell should clear with no mods. At the worst a small amount may have to be shaved off the top of the caliper, like take the casting line off.
The backing plate should be no problem.
These will be a light weight race wheel, approx 25lb (drag only). I have, once again been in contact with Hoosier discussing the max width of a slick. I think we can get a 12" slick in there and keep the orig wheel offset to the outside. The section width may present a problem with trucks that have been dropped (inner fender well). It will be close. These will be 10" rims. Getting 16x9" rims is no problem. The centers can be cut in any design you want. Powder coating is ok.

BRIMSTONE...I may take you up on your offer to help.

Mike, if Brimstone can't make it, I'll go in his place. I too live in So. Cali. What city is this place in? Curious if it's closer to me or Brimstone.
