can anyone tell me how to take my dash apart to get the stereo out?

and can anyone tell me if I can fit 6x9'S in the sides behind the seats.

Don't take the dash apart! See the four holes in the radio face? That's how it comes out.

 

Mine wouldn't come out of there without taking the trim ring off. I got the radio removal tool(s) at Circuit City.

Trim ring is the part with the A/C vents in it. And it pops right off when you pull on it.

****** is right. You need to remove the black trim around the radio. I just took mine out and had to remove the black trim and use the Ford stereo removal tool. You can get one at a local part store like PepBoys or Autozone, or you could try places like Bestbuy and Circuit city.
