Adamson Ford in Birmingham, AL has 5 new L's on the lot.. surely they could afford to work with you. I bought my 00 from them. Their phone number is 205 324 2553 if you want to give them a call.

Hey seeya, welcome to the board. I live in your area. I bought mine from Don Reid Ford. However it was at MSRP, not above or below. They were in more demand back then so they may be willing to deal now. Call 407 644-7111 and ask for Bill Gwin. Tell him the Lightning guy sent you. The only other place you could try is that Seminole Ford/Autonation USA out off I4. I know they are an SVT dealer and their prices are always very reasonable. Not sure if they'll do under MSRP on a Lightning. I don't have they're number either.

I got mine at Tropical on OBT in South Orlando. I paid sticker in 99 when others were going above. That being said I would not by an old dog from them. They need to get their ***** together in both sales and service.

Thank for the help. Don Reid ford is right around the corner from me. Called them and they are at msrp. Maybe I need to show up with cash in hand and see what happens. I would be willing to buy one for 1000 off msrp. They have a used red 99 L on the lot for about 2 months now so I don't think people are beating the doors down to get one. Not on this economy! Car buisness is way off right now. JB

Yeah I've taken a good look at that 99 they have. It's been rode hard and put up wet. 30,000 miles. They are asking too much for it. Deal directly with Bill Gwinn and tell him Erich sent you. If anything will get you 1k off that will. I've bought 9 cars from them and sent them numerous customers.

You might try Hienzelmens truck center (sp?). They were the most reasonable when I was ordering my HD special. Most people don't think of going to them, they only deal in trucks.

I don't think they are an SVT dealer.

Hey Erich, did they give you any kind of discount on yours. I've paid msrp on harleys but never on a car or truck. I know a ton of people are car dealers and things are sloooow. I'll talk to your guy and see what he's got to say. Thanks again

I paid MSRP. No more no less. Bill went to the owner of the dealership and stated my case. I know Seminole Ford back in 99, when they were still Seminole Ford, wanted 5 grand over MSRP. Florida is pretty much a seller's market for cars, what with the decent weather and roads. I'm going to be at Don Reid on Saturday so I'll mention it to him while I'm there and see what he can do.
