I don't think they ran out of the stuff that makes them the fastest (they're not, by the way!!). I think they decided to take some of the lead out to keep them from being the slowest!!

Just messing with you. I would think if it only affects one color that it would be a situation with the paint??? If it was engine or assembly related it would affect us all.

I was told by the dealer this morning that for some reason red Lightnings are on hold. He has VIN #'s but no release date. Anybody know anything about this? Did they ran out of those special parts that cause the red L's to be the fastest?

Since Red is the fastest color, they must be doing something to slow them down a bit. SVT doesn't want the black, white, and silver owners to be miffed.
