I was wondering, do all Buicks shut down at 100mph, or just his?
it would be hard to finish a quarter if i had shut the ole L down at 100, would usually finish faster than that, much less my 140 top end. What do i know, i bought a stock 14 second truck, thats like 14.1, not .9. I'm afraid i wont be able to keep it above 14 soon, psp and all, damn.

Here's first hand, since I've got a 2000 Lightning and a 2001 GTP (I hate to admit it, but it's my wife's car...). It'd take 3 or 4 strong go-fast goodies to allow the GTP to try to stay with my L.
And GTP_Drools, bring that Durango around anytime - and I mean anytime.

Hey I'll be happy to race ya and iam only 17 I'll show you that the "L" can beat that pice of crap you call a car, I bet that guy in the "L" didn't even think he was in a race because if he did all you would be seeing is a big puddle of pis* on your floor mats, trying to figure out how he beat me IN A TRUCK!! AHAHA

Um, not exactly. All things being equal, there can be no doubt that the L would kill a GTP. Period. I think that what the members of this board are saying is that there is a much greater chance of a Lightning kill story being truth than there is of a GTP kill story being truth. Unless the GTP is killing VW Beetles and Pontiac Azteks. Then we might be closer to the truth.
