slowsuv,

Your old apt. is a mile from my house.

Unfortunately, the dealers in Indy are, let's say, unwilling to budge on price or even tack on a couple extra K because they are "exclusive."

I put on winter duellers on 16" navigator rims. I also had about 200 lbs in the back. I had no problem at all with the snow. After 2" of snow on the ground, the F1's were terrible. I got my tires and rims from tirerack.com for $700.00 ( tires, rims, mounting, balancing and shipping ).

BaBolt says it all. With a good set of tires, if you stay off the boost the L will handle like any regular cab 2 wheel drive F-150. I kept my chip and filter in, and the only thing that I had to be carefull about was the ever so firm shifting.

Red face

Its been a bitch of a winter here. I could SEE snow from my house the other day (no roads go up there, though, except maybe some fire roads). Today was the first day I could take my boat out for a couple of weeks (I don't like those bone chilling 50° temps). Forecast is for more rain this weekend, too. Hopefully we will have some decent 80° weather soon.
