I'm talking about the BNSF train hauling the '01 L's. I hope Casey Jones is not driving. Can anyone tell me how long after you get the message of "Your vehicle has been shipped by rail", from VOPC, that it will finally show up on BNSF's tracing site?

Has anyone never been able to track theirs on the BNSF site?

Thanks for any info.

I get the same message as you "as of feb 27th Your vehicle has been shipped by rail"

I talked to a woman from Norfolk Southern yeterday she gave me the rail car number and told me as of tuesday mine was on the train heading directly to the depot in Ayer Ma. For me that is a train trip of about 500 miles. For you that is about 1500 miles if the train is direct. http://www.nscorp.com/nscorp/html/ncsc/menu.html

I too was unable to track the rail car via the union pacific web page at http://my.uprr.com/pub/pet/

What were you guys' date of manufacture ?

 

Both of our trucks were made the week of 02/19/01 and were shipped on 2/27/01.

I just called the railroad again and they tell me mine is due at the depot in Massachusettson monday.

 

I can tell you some good news,If they say it ll be there on monday.Chances are it WILL be there on monday. Ford has it pretty well figured out.I have seen them arrive a day or two early(sometimes the truck drivers want to get done early and get paid for it )But It is VERY rare for them to show up late.Id be watching your dealer 24 hrs starting NOW to see..........

About 10 minutes after I posted the message saying it would be here on monday my salesman called me.

IT IS AT THE DEALER I AM SO HAPPY, I am picking it uo at 11:00 AM tomorow.

I had a build date of 01-29 and an eta of the 26 to my nearby dealer. Well, i called the Vopc and on Feb. 7 they said it had been shipped via rail carrier. I call back a few days later, Feb. 16, and they say that the unit has reached the ramp. i was unsure of what "ramp" this was, but now i know it was the unloading ramp. Point being,my car never showed up on BNSF and i have talked to them about it and it seems that they have no recolection of my vehichle even touching a bnsf train. I think something is wrong in their system. Just wanted to let you guys know. Later
