Post Anyone broken the 400HP mark on the dyno?

I was just wondering if anyone on this board had broken the 400 HP barrier at the rear wheels? If so, what mods have you done to get that much power? Thanks.

The post does say it and there is a dyno plot to back it up,BUT the E.T and MPH do not even come close. This guy ran in 34 degree air and ran a 8.58 at 82.51 MPH that would be a 13.40's in the 1/4! Speed dictates horsepower and his speed is not even remotely close to 400RWHP.Dynoes walk E.T's talk.Just my .02 cents!

12.37 @ 110.55
12.38 @ 110.24

Those are my best times, without nitrous or a convertor on stock manifolds. The times were made at a weight of 4700 lbs. and of course run back to back. temp was in the mid 60's with BP at 30.47.

I have not had my truck on the dyno in some time. Wasn't there a HP calculator some where on the web, I lost it, and cant seem to find the link to it. I know it's not that acuurate, I was just curious. Anone care to guess what Power #'s come from my times above??

BBQMAN,

It can't be right, that's obviously a way too high of a number. The times are real but not that rating. There was one other site that someone posted and I believe I came out with a 430 or around that for H.P.

Hope KILLA' doesn't see this My truck, mild with almost 500 ponies...KILLA' say it aint so j/k

Try downloading this hp calculator. Its the best one I have ever seen. Real adjustable and it has a 1999 Ford Lightning preprogramed. Download

Last dyno run I made showed 478 RWHP and then we hit the nos on the next run and it showed 517 RWHP with a 50 shot.

12.36 1/4 at 4660 lbs.
