Need catalytic converter suggestions.

Well it doesn't look like I can get the exhaust tone I'm looking for without cats. And since my dynatechs rattled themselves out after a year I'd like to go back with a better quality. I'm thinking either the 94000 series Magnaflows ($150 for both) and hope the reason the others went so soon was because of a rich condition or look more into Random Technology's cats ($$$). Any others I should look into?

+1 for the MAgnaflows. I tried the Bassani cats be the Mags and they were loud as hell and did not last. Went to Mags and the tone was perfect.

WigginWilly had an audio of his exhaust just a while back that I clearly loved. He had and I think still has Kooks long tubes, high flow converters with Bassani BX's. That is what I'm shooting for. The Magnaflows sound good but are a little too deep sounding to me that doesn't sound like a screeming demon, just a low bellow. IMO.

another good CAT manufacture is Random Technologies, you may have to get a universal and have the flanges welded on, but they are high quality and will take lots of abuse. I have used them for years on my 800hp street rod Procharged and NX injected and no hint of a problem yet and its been 5 years and many many drag passes.

Random Tech cats for 5 years. They are virtually indestructible. 3" universal fit stainless 100% metal.

Well dynatech cats that have rattled themselves hollow a long time ago. I just haven't heard any exhaust clips that I really like from a truck w/o cats.
