You have to make this decision on your own.
Make a choice that you're going to be happy with.

I somehow feel like the one I ordered is a part of me now, even though it has yet to arrive.

I have never owned a new vehicle in my life. It will mean something to me to say that I ordered it. (sorry for the mushy stuff)

Good luck in whatever choice that you make.

thanks for the replies, I am going to look at it today, I used to own a red 93 L once I see it I am sure I will be able to make a decision. If I go for the red I can have it monday, the silver is still a few weeks to a moth away, and the wait has been killin me.

Hehe we will see if the red makes me buy her.

As the owner of a silver L., I gotta concede that the red is far more in your face eye catching. There are some eyes I'd rather not catch, thow. I couldn't drive a truck that reminded me of Stanford, though, and besides, I would much rather be driving or fishing than washing and polishing, and the silver will stand up longer with less maintainance than the other colors.

gotta go with silver.
the rims match & the "clear" tail lights look the best on it.

silver stays cleaner longer. er, well it hides dirt more better. (nice grammer, huh?)
scratches arent as bad either.

That's one of those decisions you must make. I would look at a truck of each color and pick the one you like best. Do NOT let the extra wait be the deciding factor in your decision. Your going to have to live with it (probably) for years so what's an extra month now matter. Get the one you really want.

I have a red lightning and a silver escort. The silver does not show the scratches and finger prints. But red and black look best on the lightning. Although red is a lot less work than the black.

Well I looked at the Red one and man does it look awsome, and What4 it allmost made me buy her, but I am sticking with the silver.

alphadoggy your reasons are why I ordered Silver in the first place, maybee I can be just a little stealthy with silver.

Sorry Keith I guess we will look like identical twins!!! at least till I put my dark gray sportsmaster tounou cover on, and a 6 sticker on the rear window.

One thing I will tell you in person the new lights look Bad to the bone, and new rims aren't as bad as I thought they would be.

Thanks the rest of you for your opinions, except Shorty "Green" what the H are you smokin, LOL I guess I know.

By the way there is a Red 2001 at Framingham Ford if anyone in Mass is interested.
