I just got my tuck back from having the bearings in the rearend replaced, due to the retard at the dealership who installed them too tight when I did my 4.10's. The dealer would not warranty their work because it was over 90 days before the rear end stared to whine. So $610 later the truck runs great, is there any way I can get the dealership to reimburse me? Also the shop I took my truck to talked me out of going with synthetic diff. fliud, does anybody have an opinion on synthetic vs. gear oil?

The rear is filled with synthetic from the factory.

 

dont forget the modifier fluid for that posi

 

Thats what I told the guy but he said since he was going to warranty the rear end he wanted to go with what he feels is better. Yeah they did put in the Posi additive I think it was a GM product.
