air suspension

will the air ride 4bar setup for the rear work on a lightning too or just a normal f150. somewhere i read that someone said it would not but i wanted to see what you guys say?

Its not made for the 9.75" rear end and they have no intention to make a kit for it.

The modifications needed wouldn't require a lot. If you had more info about the kit, would be easier to see what might need to be changed. Few areas to think about... the axle tube size would be slightly bigger on the L. Solution, open up the lower control arm axle mounts with a grinder. Shouldn't take much work. Depending on how the upper arms are mounted, might have to do the same... unless it incorporates the diff into the mounting design.

Actually, the kit is bolt-on, so the larger axle tube would require either fabbing entirely new brackets or welding the kit on.
