Im from Torrance and own a black 2000L. Mods are pro-m meter and a chip, 376RWHP.

 

I'm in San Diego (Sabar Springs), next to Poway. I have a Black 2000 Lightning with no mods (Just breaking it in for now)

I'm from Martinez. I live in Virginia Beach, VA but will be transfering back to San Diego in May of next year (I hope). We can hook up. I look forward to screaming along the Benecia bridge and making it to the toll booth before everyone. Safely though. Looking forward to the chow. Crabs are good here but the mexican food stinks. I also heard rumors about the 00 L's. A friend of a friend who just got a new L and works at the Ford plant around here said the 00's are suppose to have more HP. I am trying to set up a race with my 99 L in order to see if it is true. We shall see if he is willing to compare the two. Mine is completely stock; even down to the paper air filter. The only mod I have is the Mobil 1 synthetic which has improved my gas mileage significantly. Like I said, he is only a friend of a friend so my source of info is not very credible. All I heard was that he had a big smile on his face when he drove up in his new L. I believe that.

 

As you might have guessed I have a red L 2000. Drives plenty fast and will be getting faster. I live in Huntington Beach. I have seen 3 other Lightnings in town.

Hey, Wheels, I live in Pleasanton at the moment and work in Livermore. We need to get together!

I'm edging towards a "Bay Area" gathering later in the year. Few of us got together for the Good Guys show this past weekend and then everyone came over to my place for steaks and bench racing.

Have seen 6 or 7 others in the area and one identical to mine right down to the snuglid.

 

I live in Lafayette and own a Red 2000. My wife has seen another Red 1999 in downtown Lafayette a few times. About 6 months ago, I used to see a Black Gen2 on Highway 13 (almost everyday) but haven't seen it for awhile.

BTW, went to UCI also...
