I'm in Torrance, one block from Redondo Beach, one mile from the ocean, $1500 from Bassini exhaust. This is fertile racing ground with lots of LS1's, WS6's, C5's, and lesser challengers like Boxters, Bimmers, and other assorted yuppies that become shocked to their toes when humbled by a truck? Around here, however, street races are short (200'to 1/8th mile), not a lot of open area w/o taxmen everywhere.

I live in Southern California, San Fernando Valley, I have a 99.5 white one and I've seen a black, 2 whites and one red. Heard talk that the 2000 model will be down graded in hp...anyone heard anything about it?

Red 199.5 with Snuglid. Walnut, (So. Cal near Diamond Bar). I've seen another red and a black around.

 

I bought my Red lightning in Fairfield and hang out there most of the time on weekends. I live in Cupertino.

 

I live in San Leandro. New complete black paint job because it got keyed. Thanks to all for sympathy expressed on my previous post, and LA Smith and Sons for great paint job. All came out well. Have seen two other Lightnings locally both red.

There are other owners here in Torrance, but most seem to be down in Orange County.

 

PD, I haven't seen too many L's in this area; a black one a few weeks before I bought mine, and another white one an hour before. Both on PCH in Manhattan Beach.
