Smile 8 Degrees & Pavement

Went for a ride tonite, only 8 degrees out but miles of dry pavement. I have studs on, so no WOT below 20, but above that the L really screams in this cold weather. Wonder what kind of times you could run at this temperature.

I don't know on the times, but I bet you could make some good sparks!

When I was young (wasn't that a song?) I'd drive moms Pinto 2300 A3 with the "Studs" on and go out in the ice lookin for prey.

Well.. I just got done installin a new manifold last night on the Dak, and it was foggy/somewhat warm last night... and tonight its much colder (40's prolly)

I can tell a HUGE difference... I think us blown motors love so much is because the air gettin compressed dosent heat up as hot... My $.02

The other day I got a heavy foot at low speed and yeah, those studs must make sparks cause they sure made an awful sound. Took me a few seconds to figure out that my drive train wasn't coming apart.
Wondering if there is a formula that can compute hp increase with a corresponding temperature drop. Know there are some engineers out there.
