Post Bburago Scale L

Inspired by the Tiffany post, I intrepidly set out to find these Bburago models. After cleverly figuring out the URL: http://www.bburago.com/ I was surprised to see a red L on the home page!! Mind you, these people offer hundreds of badass exoticars, but there's an L on the home page. Sweeeeet!

Inside they offer two 1999 models -
Red:

Silver:

Ps. Couldn't find the Dodge Dakota R/T anywhere. Maybe on the Dinkytoy site?

Cool

I finally found one of these puppies at ToysRUs. The last one there, glad it was black, but I wanted a silver. Apparently they are making silverfrost now or is that a Photoshop repaint? Im in the process of pimping the one I bought out. So far: simpson race harnesses snagged from a diecast dodge viper, slammed it tucking the wheels nicely, tinted back winder and front windshield visor, cleared out the turn signals, chrizzomed tha front grill, dunked the exhaust and engine in bleach (to remove the chrome cuz a chromed engine block iz ugly!) and painting it correctly, and making a custom tonneau out of a thin piece of sheetmetal including a supertruck type spoiler, the coup de gras is a banner for the front windshield made at a local vinyl grafix shop. I'm thinkin of puttin "wayyyy too much time on my hands" on it HA¡ Man I cannot wait till I can afford a real one!

Interesting that they offer a '99 in silver even though Ford never.

Just a little tidbit: For anyone cusomizing a Burago, you can also use the wheels off a 1/18 scale burago! I put the M3 roadster wheels on mine. they are huge! This opens a lot of options for the "mini L mods" Lloyd

Hey Clonetek,

It looks like for 41506 they messed up the URL on the site. We can fix that for them!

Check out the funky wheels!
