make sure you are keeping those black tabs pulled up in the back, and also start with the side with one pin first

if you don't have a really long plier to twist the headlight nut, you have to take it back out and twist the little black things on the headlight...3 are three.

I hate our headlight mounts.

If you want to bring the light straight up, do the side with two studs on it, twist the bottom one out (Loosen) one full turn, and the top one in (tighten) and then see how it is, a small adjustment on those studs makes a big difference on the light pattern 40' out infront of the truck.

But before you go playing with the studs, make sure all of the studs are showing through the long black tabs

Well,if you didnt move the adjusters then you might not have gotten the lights seated all the way back in.Pull the headlight back out and slow down a bit.Look at the white adjuster nut and youll see where the metal clip should slide onto. The when you put it in make sure the clip slides onto those grooves and you should be ok.

The tool on the bottom is the easiest thing to adjust headlights with... I used long neednose pliers...

I've never had my head lights out but now I do have to chg them out.

I can't find a definite "How-To" for the R & R ?

Do I pull those 2 sliding tabs in the back and it'll come out the front or what???

I'm currently trying to fit a set of JDM projector/halo lights which
have the turn signal light all in one and it's turning into a nightmare.
If the grill was off they would just fall in place but then the grill screws
would be behind the light unit ? Oh well got 5 hours or so free Today
so will give it another shot.

Well took the grill off just to see if they do fit but I dont think they will.
Wont sit back far enough as the main bulb holder hits the backplate likewise
with the indicator housing that wont clear the alignment bracket either.
Dont want to start cutting bits out the front of the truck though. Anyone
ever fitted a pair of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-03...spagenameZWDVW

If so how the hell did you get em on ??????
Cheers, Col
