I would have to go with the townhouse too. You do already have a sweet truck, add the condo.....

RTKilla,

Seriously, buy the Real Estate. You're young, take advantage of the opportunity. How many 19 year-olds do you know that own their own pad? Sure, you'll have a bit less $$ due to payments but nothing feels better than owning your own place, long term that is. It's part of the American dream (at least in my book) and it makes you want to buy more. I have two houses and am always looking for more when I can stop spending disgressionary $$ on my L (yeah right)

You can leverage the equity to finance your racing if you so choose. Not the best choice, but possible.

RTKILLA,

Easy to decide, go for the townhouse. Real estate is good to buy when you are young.
More cars will come later.

And to just toss another nail into the bucket.. buy the townhouse. I'm in your similar situation.. although I can't afford to buy anything around here so I'm forced to rent. And since your only a year or so younger than me(just turned 21 last nov).. Think of it this way.. You can't pickup a chick.. and say "So you wanna go back to my moms place?". Thats just a dead end. Buy yourself a nice pad.. Pimp it out with the usual stuff.. park your L in the driveway.. and live life (not to mention your making money while livin the high life). I've got 2 vehicles.. it's fine and dandy.. BUT if I could own a nice place.. and not spend a mil on it, in exchange for one of my vehicles.. I'd kiss the stang goodbye(bay area prices suck). Not to mention you get some free furniture! I wish my parents were that liberal with their money *laugh*. I dont get a dime from them.. Which is fine.

Thumbs up

Your truck is #835 built 3/8/00 mine is #1717 built 3/29/00. That’s like 900 trucks in one month! What did Ford do the rest of the year?
Hope things don’t start falling apart cause they were just slapped together.
RTKILLA
Buy the condo, Cardboard boxes get wet in the rain. There is always another cool ride out every year.

Hehehe

Expensive, tiny??

My condo cost me 275k last year and it's 1040sqft.
I agree with the rest....buy the condo. You should make money in the long run.

I live in a brand new complex, and the units are selling for $450k now. Not a bad investment.

Buy the townhouse! If you sold it in 3 years, You'd probably make enough to get the car FREE, plus still have a down for another one. Try that with the car! Lloyd
