Has anyone else seen this concept vehicle yet? Can't say I care much for it.

 

They couldn't pay me to drive that truck. It looks like a clown car. They need to stick with making it fast, not trying to make it look "cool". I think they already look awesome.

They should call it the Lightning BLOB! That is disgusting!

 

Ok I have to say that is one lightning that I wouldn't drive. Ugly as hell. The only thing that looks remotely cool on the truck is the smoothed out tailgate. Everything else is trashy looking. I hope to god ford doesn't make something close to this.

I think the Ford Lightning "Rod" (Hehe you said rod) would be a damn fine successor to the current G2. Only a few things need changed IMHO, 1. Lower the fog lights in the bumper a tad and add an aux grille like the current L's. 2. I'd like to see it in a flareside. 3.Get rid of those nasty black designs (Maori tattoo??) on the seats and tonneau. 4.Oust the "Rod" and just call it a friggin Lightnin'. As an addendum - MORE POWER!¡

Well I think it's pretty a good concept vehicle. I thought the lines and lower roof were real nice. I thought the rear exit exhaust was also good. The main problem I see is the front bumper. I felt it really needs some shape as far as distinguishing the bumper from the grill area. The flat nose just ain't my style.

I like it. That's got nice clean lines. I could however do without those tattoo's on it and the interior should be toned down a bit, but overall, i'd have to give it a thumbs up. But then again, I seem to be in the minority on this one cuz i liked the Chevy SS truck concept too.

 

That thing does not deserve to have "Lightning" in the title. How ugly could it get?? I hate to say it, but it looks almost like something GM would make.

 

That is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Looks like something that should have been in "Boogie Nights" or something. Ford, please, please, please, don't put "Lightning" name on that truck

 

Keep the comments coming, I will print them out and hand them to the Ford guy tomorrow. Whoever said it looks ugly enough to have been built by GM, you should send that comment to the CEO of Ford. You can be damned sure heads will roll when he sees a comment like that.
