Marcus, I'm glad you didn't take offense, you're a nice guy. But you better get some mods on that puppy if you think you're going to beat me. 
Shift kit goes in tomorrow, I hope, and am in process of ordering throttle body and crank pulley. Will not quit until I see 12 seconds on the timing slip.

Not at all George, I'm young and impaitent. And I am willing to be anything with your chip, 4.10's, and the pulley that you'll be in the 12's. And the shift kit and t/b will just help you even more down towards 11's (which are my goal). You're otta my league, but not for long hopefully. By the way, did Jan say if the truck was spoken for or not?

I confess I might have fudged the truth a little. I stopped and talked to Jan today, primarily on behalf of Shelly, but she has not responded. But they are supposed to get a black L. next week, and it is NOT spoken for (well, it might be the one you ordered). And, they are supposed to get two the following week, a black and a white, neither of them spoken for.
And I concede you will ultimately win. I don't think you can get an L. into 11's without the bottle, and that's where I draw the line. I will be very happy with 12's.

There are 3 SVT dealers in BC, the one I am at has sold 12 Lightnings in 2000, so I guess they must have ordered some already, and just put my name on it when I showed up.

Maybe he can't get you a VIN. I don't know all the details of how that works.
He should be able to give you a copy of the DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement).
From there, you can track your truck thru the VOPC.

I ordered mine in September and just now I found out that my dealer has the VIN#, but still doesn't have a build date. My salesman said That "might" have a date in a week or two. We'll see.

OK. This is really scaring me. If all of you guys who ordered back in September of last year haven’t gotten your trucks yet, then I must really be up s**t creek without a paddle.
