The oil collecting in the intake is coming from the PCV valve. It is caused by allot of wide-open throttle use. The PCV valve will allow the most blow-by gasses to re-enter the intake typically when the manifold vacuum is at its lowest. (IE higher RPM) You will also produce more blow-by gasses with suspended oil droplets in it at higher RPM. It is these droplets that are collecting or condensing inside your intake. Just my .02$

On my L2 the oil is coming from the driver side valve cover. The tube running from the driver side valve cover to the intake tube is always soaked with oil. The other tube running to the pcv is dry as a bone.

I installed a K&N crankcase vent filter today on the driver side valve cover.
Total parts used:
K&N filter part no. 62-1020 cost: $18.61
1-3" piece of 5/8" hose cost: $free
Total time to install: 5 minutes.
That will do away with oil being sucked into the t/b.
Thanks to all for the help & input on this problem.
