Post Bad supercharger seal

Well, I finally got my Bolt into the dealership this week. The front oil seal on the supercharger has been leaking and of course the front end continues to pop. I was really ready to bow-up about the supercharger, but they agreed right away, the seal is bad, not serviced separately and it's new supercharger time at 13,700 miles!

The bad news is the supercharger is on some sort of super special G7 classified have to kill ya backorder. Might be six days, might be six weeks. Oh well. They fixed the front end and I have it tucked in at home awaiting the surgery. Film at 11:00.

Yeah, those seal will spring a leak every now and then.

When it gets out of warranty just make sure to buy a bottle of the SC special oil from Ford(About $10 for 12 Oz.?) and do not let it run out.

How do you think Magnuson has stayed in business all these years?
Selling SC nosecones to us poor schmucks with the T-Bird SC's that have leaking seals and we let them run dry and pop, time for a rebuild.
