i don't get it, because in 1990, they dropped tilt steering(for airbag) you dislike 90-93????? that makes little to no sense to me. but whatever.

when i first saw a 01 GT i hated the new huge hood scoop. but it has totally grown on me and i can't wait to see these bullitts runnin around, making anywhere from 275-285 hp at least (compared to 260 for reg gt), these should be high 13 second rides easy. we will see however.

Let me clear it up for ya...........

In the earlier years when there was tilt wheel,You felt like you were in a spaceship or a real sports car the way the wheel comes down in your lap with the 5 speed in your right hand.As you sit at the light and clank the shifter real hard waiting to intimidate the person next to you and then take off with yourtires blazin...... This is my experience with a 5.0 mustang with tilt.Its all about the feel of the car ********.......


Here I am sitting at the light in my 1990 mustang, I look over to my right and i see this real fine beauty sittin in her camaro.Its hard for me to see with the steering wheel up high and blocking my view.Im trying to see the tach but the air-bag is bulging in my face.For a moment I need to look around and see what kind of car i am in because here in my hands is a steering wheel that feels like it came out of a Mercury Grand Marquis........Then for a moment I could swear,I have moved into the future and am driving a f150.I look really fast to make sure im not sitting on a bench seat and am suprised once again by the girl next to me is driving off.I can hardly see her because my arm is extended far over the rim of the wheel and my elbow is blocking the view.I take off spinning the tires and I am having a hard time keeping it in control because it feels like I am trying to bring a school bus back around because of the 75 degree the steering wheel is at..........

This is what tilt wheel means to me.........

as for the endings,The tilt wheel epsode end me up in bed with a fine woman who is impressed by my control of a fine automobile.


The non tilt wheel episode is when the girl in the next car looks over and tells me I look like pee-wee herman behind the wheel of a dump truck.

so, becuase a tilt wheel would go 2" lower than the standard wheel w/airbag, you felt it was that much sportier, eh? you need to check yourself into an asylum buddy.
