TAURUS SHO!!!!!!!!!
I have to second this. I have a 91 Plus just dynoed at 244HP, has a few mods and is a lot of fun to drive. It is a great sleeper and some of the 4.6 L boys get a big suprise. Now it is time for MORE POWER, my 2001 Lightning is on the way and should be here the last week of Feb

You'd be hard pressed to find a FWD tranny (he list ZERO tranny mods) that can take that much power/tq and survive over a period of time. Maybe a couple of passes here and there but not any duration. Not to mention the severe lack of traction with that much power on a FWD car.
BTW, have you all noticed that all of these sudden "SHO" owners have a "Post #" of like 2, 3 and 14. From the looks of it, they are trolls.
Own a SHO, cool. Come over here to start trash talk? Make sure your mom knows your using her computer............
Just my $.02

I bought a new SHO in 1990, drove it for 10 years and just recently gave it to my brother to keep it in the family. I added light mods (Superchip, K&N, Borla, SVT rod shifter, etc.) and, even after 10 years, the car remains competitive today with just about any other sedan under $40K.
Although I loved my SHO, my '99 L is, of course, a better performance vehicle in almost every respect. It would take one heck of a modified SHO to even come close. And, whoever mentioned about the SHO's tranny and clutch being a weak link knows what they're talkin' about. If you're making 350 hp, the stock transaxle/clutch assembly won't be around for long.
