i know the rousch mustangs work like this:

stage1: rousch appearence kit (ground effects, wheels, wing, etc)

stage2: stage1 + all the suspension mods

stage3: stage1,2 + supercharger

seems like a waste of money to me. (especially stages 1 and 2)

Hey guy's you shouldn't let that bother you. I bought my Lightning because FORD built it the way it is. It came from the factory kickn asphalt. Anyone can build a faster truck than this with enough dough, but they won't have the prestiege. Hell I built a Ranger pickup with a twin turbo V8(see sig),but it's not the same as owning the fastest FACTORY PRODUCED truck ever made. You know what I mean????

Blacklight, I've done all this stuff and I still haven't run in the 1/4. I may wait to run it at the F-150 rally so that I can compare apples to apples (temperature, track conditions).

The truck was purchased as a Sport Package. It had been previously owned and had 3000 miles on it. The original owner paid $36,000 for it, but because the truck was considered used, they were asking 30,000. I got it for 26,000. So with the cost of the mods I have less than 31,000 in the truck. Pretty good deal!

I wasn't looking to have the fastest truck--I bought the wrong vehicle for that. What I have is a head turner that runs good and carries a family. I truly am enjoying my cake!

If I do go to the dragstrip, I will post numbers.
