Need help trying to create another explorer icon on my desktop that when clicked goes directly to this Lightning board. When I tried it changes all explorer icons to the same address. I would like to have different addresses for all the E icons.

 

Open up explorer
copy the url for the message board
click on tools
then paste the url in the adress window.

 

If you've got it (the F150Online address) as a favorite in IE, hilite the address in your favorites column, then right click on it, and send to desktop (create shortcut).

Hope this makes sense.

Cool I just learned something today, your tip works better than mine.

 

If your using Internet Explorer(might work with Netscape) Go to the web site you want shortcut and drag-n-drop the little explorer icon on the far left of address to your desktop. There are many ways to acheive the same goal just chose your favorite. Also
depending on which version your using it will create a custom icon like this board will create a little truck icon on my desktop. Each website may have their own unique icon.

I tried sending it to desktop as a shortcut & when I click on it it says there is no file associated for clicking on the file. I checked in folder options like it told me to do & could not find what is wrong.
Any help?

You probably placed the shortcut in your Start Up folder you will need to delete it.

cool when i made a short cut on my desk top the icon is a little truck lol

 

If you're using Navigator, go to the L starting page, right click ( with pointer anywhere on page) drop-down box, hit create shortcut>>>>>>little truck, AND THE DAD_BURN THING IS RED! (my L is white)
