Is there anything in particular that you are trying to say, or is this just an effort to bypass the mods' closing of that thread?

I thought it was prematurely closed. Doug orignally said the OP, me, had other motives.. Then he changed it to a still cloudy:

Enough - this is pointless
The posters clearly have some other agendas ...
Closed
Doug

Falcon may have had another agenda, so delete his posts.. There is a reason you don't see good comments on the Livewire and the point of post was to let other Livewire owners know they could put some pressure on SCT like I'm trying to do. It is also a buyer-beware for future Livewire buyers.

Exactly. The only agenda the OP had was to vent frustration about a beta product that was advertised as fully functional and indifferent employees at SCT. No reason to close down that thread.

I want to thank the people that said what they think about the live wire, I am about to get some new tunes and was thinking of getting the "Live" Wire because of what it was advertised to do. I even started a thread on the tuning forum asking about the Live wire and got little real information until just lately. from everything that I have now seen I want nothing to do with the Live Wire. I don't see why the moderators allow nothing negative on this site, I thought that people could give their opinions either good or bad, but from what I have seen in the past year I think that I will stay away from this one sided site. This will probably be deleted also.

My post has nothing to do with whether or not the previous thread was appropriately closed. I just want to know what exactly is lightninquick trying to accomplish?

So far, no one has added anything of value to the discussion. Is there a point here?

the reason i posted this thread is in the title of this thread.

in the other thread that was closed we had a few users that legitmate gripe's about a product they bought under false advertisement claims

we had three pages of bashing,,,but no help with the product,,,maybe the product just blows???

Maybe we should just let this one go. It's a losing battle venting about a product made by a company the majority of the vendors on here support.

I've had nothing but great help with this forum. Guys like Tim, Rob, lighningquick, St. Louis, hostile, todd, tallimecca, and so on have been great help for years.

The forum always seems to go south when someone steps on the wrong toes.

Good luck to all with their trucks

If the SCT Live Wire product is not problematic, why don't the supporting vendors join in the discussion? Seems to me the whole point in having an open forum for our vehicles is to discuss what products and methods work, as well as those that don't.

I know it hasn't been mentioned, but in case anyone was wondering...

I am the dealer who sold the Live Wire to Mark. This is the ONLY Live Wire I have sold, and that is specifically because I do not feel comfortable selling something that's not 100%. I also warned Mark about some issues and missing features, but he still wanted it. As for any kind of credit or return, I have offered to do whatever Mark wants, and he decided to trade it back to me for an Xcal2 and a partial refund which I have no problem doing.

That's a great deal. Thanks for standing behind the products you sell. This is how most would expect any vendor to handle this problem.
