Yes, this was the understanding. The single unit (actually my best friends) was having problems. He was really the one doing the testing. I borrowed it to try it in my truck and it still had major problems. This was the original "return" item, which Justin and I were speaking about. It wasn't untill recently that I got responses back about the other two units. These two units were being used in my friends '03 Harley and the other in his brothers '04 Lightning. It turns out they are having the same issues with the devices. To go along with the lack of support and advertised features, here are some other problems they're experiencing:
While in monitoring mode the sreen will periodically go blank or the device will turn completely off. The sreen will go fuzzy during acceleration. The screen will lose contrast under normal operation and become nearly impossible to read. The warning light stays on once activated even if going back below user programed setting. And the list goes on.

At this point none of the three owners of the Livewire are satisfied. All three would be willing to send them back for the original bulk cost if possible. (This is obviously between Justin and I to work out).

Although I vented earlier in the thread, I stated that VMP can't be to blame for SCT's misshalpes. I'm working with Justin to get the problem resolved. I understand it's difficult for him as well, now that I know he can't seem to get through to SCT either.
