Cool

Jeez, do you think I'm MADE of money?
What's a power tube? Sounds like something that connects my wallet to Discover Financial. I am definitely interested in the TB, and maybe the PP too, if you can explain what it does besides suck money. How much power increase could I expect from the TB, and what is your estimated price?

No dyno results on the new TB but the bore is very close to the FRPP oval bore. I did post the dyno results for that one. Why redesign when you can copy,I know how that goes its been done to me, not a total copy though that way I can avoid any legal issues. In fact I will make sure that my throttle blade has a loose fit just like the FRPP one so that I do not have to put a "P" hole in the blade. The FRPP is a cast magnesium item this one will be from billet aluminum. My cost was in developing the CNC program but once finalized the machine can run by itself. I hope to keep the cost in the range of the modified FRPP unit maybe a little more.
Right now the biggest obstacle that stands in the way of this project is time (must do a final prototype) and the initial tooling cost. I have to commit to a production run of x number of pieces and pay for them too. I refuse to build conversation items that may sit on a coffee table (mine). That is why I posed the question and posted the photo to see if their is an honest interest.

I should be able to post photos of the metal finished powerpipe by Tuesday. I'm await on my order of custom molded hoses. I purchase items in minimum quantities until I am sure there is a market and I had to have tooling made for the hose size. Still open on the powder coat finish and my preference is towards a stippled matt black finish but I can let the customer have a choice.

Babolt, Will the Power Pipes be available with no coating in order to polish the pipe? Also any ideas on the cost?

Count me in on one too! By the way, if you got any go fast goodies for the 4.6 DOHC kicking around, let me know. I wanna play with the Cobra a little more this year.

I would be interested in the tube if there are performance gains. Have you done any testing on it yet?

Mike,
I think that tube would fit exceptionally well under the hood of MY L.

Question

BA

Just curious.....at the moment I am running a PSP intake. Will the power tube work with all of the popular intake kits? How about a different mass air, ie Pro-M? Just wondering for future mods.

Also....what will the tube be made out of? I'm hoping aluminium, just for faster cool downs. Eagerly awaiting the new mods!

Thanks

Spencer
