Has anyone done gears? How much for the gears and installation? What brand and what ratio?

I had Pyle Bros. in Baytown, TX do my installation of their US Gear 4:10. It was $550 installed, parts, labor, shims, lube, etc. They work great. There are plenty of L2's in your area, I'm sure they have a place to recommend to you up there.

Got 4:10 gears and love'em. Had Pyle Bros. do mine also.US strange is the make.
I offer a complete US strange gear kit. The kit includes; ring&pinion, carrier&pinion shims,pinion nut, seal, and friction modifier for $309.00 plus shipping.Later!

I tried 410s and i didnt notice much difference.I then got 373 and notice a nice difference.I got the gears from a ford dealership i think they were 170.00 or so.I just met another guy that works at a local dealership that told me he would do any thing i wanted (on the side).If you are interested email me.
