New member - just ordered an 01L
Just thought I would introduce myself. I just ordered a 2001 Silver Lightning the other day. No idea when it will be here but I already can't take it. I need to give you guys credit for the sale. I have been reading the board for a while and it convinced me to go out and test drive one. I test drove a 2000 and it was incredible. That was the day that I decided I needed one. With a little deal making with the wife, it is a reality.

good choice in color .i hope you know these things are addictive as hell. it will start out slow . just driving around looking for a race.pretty soon youll be making up excuses to your wife to go out and drive it .THE WORLD AS YOU KNOW IT IS GONNA SOON END lol but your gonna love it

Your experiance sound familiar. I was driving by a SVT dealer in November, I saw a Silver 2000 Lightning out front. I went in and talked to them, went for a ride, and the rest was History.
I did some research, and bought my 2001 Silver L a few days later. Mine is sceduled to be built 02/19/01 the wait is killin me. Oh well it is OK we had 8" of snow this weekend.
