I just recieved a PIN from my neighbor and was wondering what the X-Plan price should be on my '01 Bolt.

I forget what the % is on X plan but, the invoice total w/o ton. cover is $29088.50 You can figure them out from there..

 

I'm eligible for the X-plan also, but I talked with a dealer today and they said that the Lightning doesn't qualify for this plan? Is this true or is the Dealer just BSing me? To answer Toadster's question...X-plan
price is 4% above A-plan price...and A-plan
is 3% below Invoice Price. If I calculated it right the 01 lightning should cost $27,769 on X-plan. To the best of my knowledge the only Ford vehicles not eligible for the X-Plan are the Thunderbird and the Super-Duty F450 thru F750. Can anyone confirm this? Is there any other Ford vehicles that are excluded?

 

The "L" is eligible, they just don't want(nor have) to sell it to you for that price so they are telling you a bull***** story.

If the invoice is $29088.50 then the X price should be $29344.48 plus DD and TTL. I was told that they have to give you the X-plan on ANY ford vehicle that wasn't listed as eing excluded. The L isn't excluded, so they should have to sell it to you for that price if you are eligible for the X-Plan.

 

Dealer cost is $27,527. A/Z plan is $26,701 so X-plan would be $27,769.

So basiclly it will cost save me about $4000 less the rape job on trade value for the '99 less the 10% my neighbor gets(which is half of what others at the factory are selling for).

 

I went to my dealer today and asked about the x-plan on a Lightning. He asked his manager and they said no problem. He said to take the a-plan price and add 4% to it.

my companies web site asking them specifically if the L is eligible. Here is

SVT vehicles are eligible but dealers do NOT have to sell it you you at A/X plan if they do now want to.

Now the hunt must begin for you to find a dealer that is willing to do it. I had to do the same thing. Not only did my dealer not want to A-plan the truck for me...they wanted 5k over sticker. So i left and never came back.

Ended up finding a dealer that would do it...got the truck for 26k (as opposed to the 37k the first dealer wanted).

you have to get the pin# from someone that either works for Ford or is retired from Ford. The pin# can be received from the internet too thats how my man at Ford got me mine.
